Claims, forms & representation

Claims Assistance

Veteran Mission Control can help you understand and organize claim preparation while keeping reviewed Veteran facts, source authority, documents, and representative information in their existing governed VMC systems. Local claim editing requires an activated V3 case. Nothing on this page submits a VA claim.

Checking this browser’s local case workspace…

Examine your full recorded case, with source citations, chronology and unresolved evidence review.

Record symptoms and functional impact, with local correction history and reports linked to your existing conditions and claims.

Reading a medical record? Look up medical diagnosis codes (ICD-10-CM). These are separate from VA rating codes and do not establish a diagnosis or rating.

Preparation foundation

How VMC organizes claims assistance

The claims foundation connects claim workflow state to your reviewed VMC profile, existing document records, official-source form governance, and Representative Profiles without creating competing copies of those records.

Claim Filing Assistance

Start with what you are trying to accomplish, such as an original disability claim, an additional condition, an increase, a secondary condition, or an Intent to File. VMC keeps preparation separate from actual VA submission.

Evidence Assistance

Connect existing VMC document records to claimed issues and review suggested associations. Parser output remains a proposal until you explicitly confirm it; VMC does not invent diagnoses, service events, symptoms, nexus opinions, or evidence.

VA Forms Assistance

VMC maintains a SOURCE-governed foundation for common VA claim, review, representative, and disclosure forms. Form identity and revision authority come from reviewed official VA sources, while field rendering, signatures, and submission remain outside this foundation.

Representation & Authorization

Use your existing VMC Representative Profiles to coordinate with a VSO representative, accredited claims agent, or attorney. Claims representation stays separate from third-party information disclosure, and a VMC draft authorization does not itself establish VA accreditation or appointment.

Decision Assistance

Use VMC document and decision intelligence to organize issue-level grants, denials, deferrals, ratings, effective dates, and possible review questions. VA determines entitlement and the procedural validity of any review request.

Veteran review remains the control point

Machine-extracted information, evidence associations, and preparation suggestions are not treated as established Veteran facts until the appropriate VMC review path accepts them.

VMC is independent from the Department of Veterans Affairs and is not itself a VA-accredited representative. It does not guarantee an award or score the probability that a claim will succeed.

Claims and representative resources

Use VMC to organize your information, and use the responsible VA resources for official filing, evidence requirements, accredited representation, and decision-review procedures.
